Melt the Ice

We have snow where we live so we couldn't resist taking a few photos of our upcoming cosplays.

We still have a few things to do on the costumes though, although it seems Katara is furthest from being done.


- Put the bottom white design on Katara robes.

- Create a more fitting obi for Katara robes (I just tied the belt in a bow at the back out of laziness for this shoot).

- Hem the sleeves and side rips in the skirt so it looks neat.

- buy blue bobbles for the hair loopies (Again, out of laziness I used black since they were only available ones).

- Finish making boot covers for the both of us.

- Buy golden and blue contact lenses for the both of us. I'll be getting the same ones as Alix since he's being Sokka!

- I'm also after getting some props sorted: Clear water balloons with blue food colouring in the water for waterbending photos. We also want to create a turtle-duck plushie too at some stage

So after all this BRING ON MIDLANDS!!!

Also can I just give a huge shout out to Rachel and our other buddies that are travelling and staying with us over the weekend too. This was such a wonderful and unexpected surprise! <3 <3 <3 So excited!
